rECOnnect Sustainability and Resilience Expo

FREE ENTRY! A one-day expo focusing on sustainability and resilience in Wairarapa. Attendees will be able to visit stalls of local businesses and community groups and engage with them to learn more about what is available to improve sustainability and resilience to climate change. Running concurrently, they can hear from speakers on sustainability and resilience topics, and see demonstrations of technology and approaches There are four sustainability streams we are focusing on in the expo: 1. Natural Ecosystems: Our waterways, native forests and coasts 2. Natural Resources: Our food, water and waste 3. Mitigating the causes of climate change: Energy, transport, electrification 4. Adapting to climate change: Resilience, economics, insurance and finance. Attendees can access to experts, ideas and information!
